This isn’t nearly as impressive, but this ivy and purple thistle look nice around the place cards.

Nearly every wedding comes complete with these moss-scapes with lanterns, candles, and flowers everywhere. I’m not nearly skilled enough to attempt these (they’re way harder than they look). I do however, light a mean candle.
P.S. This is the rehearsal dinner (140 people!) for the giant crystal wedding.

This giant crystal tree was breathtaking. Covered in glass, candles, and orchids, it was one of the most spectacular things I’ve ever seen at a wedding. The single bloom bouquets and balls made the aisle so elegant, along with the tiny twinkling lights.

This antler (aka branch) chandelier greeted the guests at the entrance of the ceremony.. It’s teeming with cut glass, paper flowers, candles, and orchids.

Not too many beach weddings in this mountain town, but these blue hydrangeas, white roses, and light pink dahlias would be perfect for a Cape Cod wedding. Lavendar, beautiful bright green ivy, and thistle are hiding in there, along with ferns and rosemary.

This is my dream bouquet. I kinda want to carry it with me like a purse.
Orange tulips, rust and burgundy roses (garden and spray), peach ranunculus, red berries, eucylptus, galax, dusty rose hydrangia.

Big, bright dahlias are so pretty that I almost always spread them out over several arrangements. This week I came home with nothing but local dahlias and had no choice but to keep them together.
Having flowers around the house each week feels like a reward in and of itself, but this weekend I officially became a pro! Getting paid for something so fun seems unbelievable.

Usually I prefer brighter colors with more contrast, but this green and blush bouquet is lovely.
Blush dahlia, green hydrangia, pink garden and spray roses, queen anne’s lace, eucalyptus, ferns, galax, and some pretty little weeds from the yard.

Another terrific dinner plate dahlia.
[A note about cameras: someday soon I will have a better camera, until then I’m making do with my iphone. Sorry for the blurriness!]

This bride had great taste. These purple boxes were on half of the reception tables with moss, roses and tea lights around the base.
Yes, I made this one! It’s not nearly as hard as it looks. Basically, you make a medium bouquet and cut it really short. Then place it in a box filled with moss and a cup of water. Add some pretty greens at the edges and it’s done! That said, I can see about a million ways to make this better next week.
Delphinium, beautiful grey and pink roses, pink and blue hydrangia, lavendar, galax, eucalyptus, some spikey purple flower.
